In the face of all that, an app that helps you buy gas isn’t that exciting. So we had to go big. We had to do what no one had ever done. We had to prove, beyond a doubt, that Sunoco is the fastest way to fill up.

With the help of NASCAR fuel man, John Giannioto, we used the Sunoco app to set a new Guinness World Record: Most Cars Refueled By A Single Person in One Hour.
Our record-breaking, rain-soaked extravaganza generated 157 million impressions, including a segment on NBC’s “NASCAR America” and an in-stadium feature at Martinsville Speedway, in front of a teeming horde of NASCAR fans.
