Go on any Little Caesars social post and you'll see hundreds of comments with the same 4 words, "Bring Back Pretzel Crust." For years, fans have been begging Little Caesars for the return of the crust they crave.
And give them the crust they crave we shall!
To make our fans even more vocal and give them a role in the return of Pretzel Crust we gave them the crust we "thought" they craved.
Part 1: The Tease
To kick off the campaign we started with a teaser of a mysterious pizza box and the words "THE CRUST THE WORLD CRAVES IS COMING SOON." Pretzel Crust fans lost their minds thinking this was a teaser for the return of pretzel crust.
The next day we released videos that introduced Corncob Crust, a vulgar, bioengineered pizza that no one really craved. America and Pretzel Crust fans lost their minds.
If anyone thought "there's no way they're making this, right?" we doubled down on Corncob Crust and gave the pizza to influencers to review.
There's no way a brand would pay for influencers to review a fake product right?
In the words of John/Jim Jay Pepp, Corncob Crust sucked.
America spoke, and we listened. Pretzel Crust is coming back.
